Ojawuye Festival Okikili Scheduled for April 31st and May 1st, 2026

Traditions and cultures are essential ingredients for peace and unity.

This year, the Ojawuye Okikili Day festival has been slated for May 1st, marking the annual celebration.

According to Prince Abubakar Ilemona Ibrahim, Chairman of the Ojawuye crowd prince kingdom, the festival aims to foster unity, peace, and progress in the land.

He emphasized that the kingdom is known for its peaceful nature and appealed to the Kogi state government to provide the kingdom with a staff of office, expressing confidence in Governor Usman Ododo’s leadership.

The kingdom chairman extended an invitation to all sons and daughters, both at home and abroad, to attend the festival.

Prince Abdul Baye, a key figure in Ojawuye’s development, also urged everyone in Ojawuye land to participate in the festival and honor the occasion.
