Alh, (Amb) Samsondeen Adebayo Apelogun and 18 others were returned as the national executives of Acomoran. 2024.
Alh. Ado Ibrahim the Board of trustee (BOT) secretary and acting chairman of Amalgamated commercial tricycle & motorcycle owners repairs and riders associations of Nigeria (Acomoran) Told libertynews and other media houses that they obeyed the constitution of Acomoran and that is why the election is taking place today 14th April 2024.
He further said the Board of trustees (BOT) earlier passed a resolution at their National working committee meeting (NWC) on the March 22nd 2024, and endorsed all the national officers of Acomoran to continue their second tenure, but after the meeting there was an objections to the endorsement and the Acomoran constitution stipulated that election must be conducted on or before 18th of April 2024 or caretaker be constituted to run the affairs of the association.
In line with this, electoral committee of three members from the three zones of Acomoran headed by the chairman Ah. Abdullahi Bako, Olugbode Solomon (Dr) secretary and comrade Princewill Eze Amachi member was constituted to conduct free and fair election.
This development was passed to the three zones through their zonal chairmen and on Acomoran national platform and others.
The election forms were sold to interested members and the date of on the 14th April was agreed for the conduct of the election.
The electoral committee chairman told the medias that the positions were zoned according to the Acomoran constitution and the purchase of the forms has know opossetion that is why the (BOT) acting chairman instructed the committee to give an hour for any interested members to come out and contest for any position that fall to his or her zone.

Apelogun haven scored the highest votes and 18 others were declared tbe winners by the electoral committee chairman, and certificate of return was given to 19 of the newly elected national executives of Acomoran on tbe 14th of April 2024 at the Acomoran national office Jabi Abuja.The election was observed by the Inspector general of police( IGP) ablely represented,The minister of transportation ablely represent DSS were represented and otters.The election was done free and fair whie the president elect Alh. (Amb.) Samsondeen Adebayo Apelogun gave acceptance speech on behalf of others and promise that the one year celebration of Acomoran by this time next year shall be done at Acomoran permanent secretariat by the special grace of Allah. Closing prayer was said and vote of thanks was said by Ogun state chairman of Acomoran comrade Sowumi (JP).
