Alex Otti may well return unopposed in Abia State come 2027 not because opposition does not exist, but because performance has changed the political equation. Major opposition voices are reportedly unwilling to fly the APC gubernatorial ticket because they understand the reality on ground: challenging visible governance without a compelling alternative can become a costly political exercise.
Now, my question to Governor Ododo and his handlers is simple:
Why the desperation to weaken, silence, or politically neutralize other influential leaders within the same party in Kogi State?
Why fear competition within your own political family if truly the people are satisfied with your leadership?
A government confident in its achievements does not wage war against strong voices; it allows performance to defend itself.
Ododo, let your work speak louder than political intimidation.
In Kogi East, our collective interest cannot be sacrificed on the altar of personal ambition, political control, or imposed loyalty.
Take a closer look at the quality, political profile, and strategic placements of Local Government Chairmen in Kogi West, then compare them with what is obtainable in Kogi East. The imbalance is visible. The pattern is clear. The game of subjugation, political weakening, and calculated control is no longer hidden.
Kogi East is not a political colony to be managed by remote control from Ododo’s Bedroom in pursuit of his dreams which was manufactured by Bello some few years ago!
We deserve inclusion, respect, strong representation, and leaders chosen by the people not leaders manufactured to serve narrow interests of Okene Cabals
The era of silence is fading. The people are watching, questioning, and remembering.
And to Kogi East Elders and political actors, it’s time to rise above bitterness, on forgiveness, hatred, selfishness and fear of others rising above your influence. Forget any insult from anyone on social media, lets rise above everything and fight for our land else right before us Okene will rule us, control us and our people will be acting as a beggars for many years to come!
On the Senate come 2027 it’s must be between Idris HK and Echocho only and not anyone. Erico should also act as a good Igala man by stepping down for Echocho.
